MEMBERSHIP

      Membership in all categories will run until 30th June 2010. Thereafter, membership will take effect from
        the 1st day day of the month in which the membership fee is received for a period of 12 months.

Individual and Family Members

If you are interesting in learning about Self-Directed Services and Personal Budgets and supporting our agenda, you can become a member in our General category.

If you are in receipt of one or more direct funding allocation or payment and want to direct your own support, you can become a member in our In Control category.

Both categories offer these opportunities:

  • association with a national movement building dignity and social justice for everyone
  • latest information about SEP is learning
  • generous discounts for attendance at our events
  • access to advice, networks and communities working with SEP
  • help in creating special interest peer support groups
  • registration and participation in a SEP Membership Pool in your city/region

What your membership means to us:

  • your association with us will encourage others to explore our agenda
  • your own direct experience contributes to our learning
  • a membership fee that supports SEP's development of and innovation in Self-Directed Services
  • your participation in growing consumer market power in Australia and building the market leverage of SEP
These are the Individual and Family Membership fees:
 
General Annual fee $55
In Control Set up fee (first year only) $220
In Control Annual fee in second and subsequent years $55

Group Members

If you are part of a self-help group interesting in learning about Self-Directed Services and Personal Budgets and supporting SEP, your group can become a Group Member.

If you are part of a community group that wishes to participate in an SEP Membership Pool in your city/region, your group can become a Group Member.

Membership offers your group these opportunities:

 Groups with an annual revenue less than $100K $55
 Groups with an annual revenue more than $100k $220

Provider Members

Service providers with an interest in supporting Self-Directed Services and Personal Budgets and leading and shaping change in the provider market can join SEP as a Provider Member.

Membership offers these opportunities:

  • participation in a partnership helping people get lives, not services
  • support for networking with providers who are leading and shaping change in the provider market
  • latest information about what we are learning
  • access to advice, networks and communities working with us
  • use of future SEP technology, systems and methodology
  • marketing advantages and access to informed consumers
  • generous discounts for attendance at SEP events

What your membership means to us:

  • your support in developing change across the provider sector
  • your sharing of best practice and learning
  • a membership fee that supports our development of and innovation in Self-Directed Services
These are the Provider Membership fees:
 
 Providers with an annual revenue less than $2m $660
 Providers with an annual revenue between $2m and $5m $2640
 Providers with an annual revenue more than $5m $6600

Commercial Members

Trainers, consultants and planners with an interest in supporting Self-Directed Services and Personal Budgets and contributing to best practice and high ethical standards in their fields can join SEP as a Commercial Member.

Membership offers these opportunities:

  • access to advice, networks and communities working with us
  • use of future SEP technology, systems and methodology
  • marketing advantages and access to provider members
  • generous discounts for attendance at our events

What your membership means to us:

  • your support in developing best practice and high ethical standards

  • a membership fee that supports SEP's development of and innovation in Self-Directed Services
These are the Commercial Membership fees:
 
 Single practitioner  Annual fee $1100
 Companies with two or more practitioners  Annual fee $2200

Government Members

Local governments, statutory agencies, and state and federal departments with an interest in learning about Self-Directed Services and Personal Budgets and participating in our best practice networking can join SEP as a Government Member.

Membership offers these opportunities:

  • access to an ethical framework to help you bring in changes that make a real difference
  • use of future SEP technology, systems and methodology
  • advice and support on work referral for consultants and trainers
  • generous discounts for attendance at our events
  • SEP's involvement in and support for key local events

 Local governments $8800
